Misconceptions of the Low FODMAP Diet: Facts, Myths & Patient Impact

About Us

For over 40 years, Biotics Research Corporation has revolutionized the nutritional supplement industry by utilizing “The Best of Science and Nature”. Combining nature’s principles with scientific ingenuity, our products magnify the nutritional

Our unsurpassed commitment to quality and purity has set the highest standards in our industry.

  • Quality
  • Manufacturing

1. GMP Standards

Behind every standard and certification are highly skilled members of our Quality Control Unit (QCU) using state-of-the art technologies and analytical methods to meet the highest quality standards. In fact, many aspects of our cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices) exceed FDA guidelines for dietary supplements in order to ensure the safety and efficacy of our products.

2. In-Process Control

Our quality control standards are embedded into each step of the process, from the receipt of raw materials to the shipment of finished product. Our process controls guarantee the highest quality nutritional supplements in the practitioner market.

3. Supplier Validation

In today's complex global supply chain, supplier validation enhances transparency and traceability of products so there is no contamination or adulteration of material along the supply chain. That said, every supplier must undergo a formal qualification process that includes an evaluation, documentation review and assessment of standard operating procedures. In addition, we test every single raw material for guaranteed purity, potency and quality.

4. Raw Material Testing

Ingredients must be pure and free of contaminants, heavy metals, solvent residues, pathogens, gluten and much more before inclusion in a formula. Our state-of-the-art laboratory allows us to test beyond industry standards for identity, purity, composition, safety, stability and efficacy for the purest-sourced ingredients.

5. Phytochemical Identification

Our laboratory tests for identity, potency and safety using cutting-edge testing methods. Phytochemical markers allow us to identify the potency and presence of active constituents in plant ingredients. Our database includes hundreds of botanical fingerprints from which our laboratory can verify each ingredient and validate the source and supply chain.

6. Non-GMO

We take great care to source organically grown ingredients whenever possible, and if we cannot source certified organic, we choose non-GMO. Our mission is to provide healthcare practitioners with appropriate information to make suitable choices for their patients, especially those who are concerned about GMOs and require more information. Biotics Research is a leader in our approach to the role, presence and place of genetically modified ingredients in our industry. Our GMO program is comprised of three core components: verification, transparency and ongoing management.

7. Gluten Free

One of the first companies to do so, we are proud to offer 100% gluten-free nutritional supplements to you and your patients. In addition to gluten testing in our Level 2 Micro-Lab, ingredients are screened for pathogens and total bacterial profile, yeasts, molds and aflatoxin.

8. Product Analysis & Stability

Stability testing of our products is conducted in real time. Where other companies assume a generalized expiration or no expiration at all, Biotics Research performs shelf-life testing on all products and utilizes accelerated stability techniques on new products.

1. Raw Materials Production

Our enzyme-rich vegetable culture base and trace mineral plant cultures are grown and cultivated on site, utilizing our specialized processes developed over 40 years. Glandular preparation, vitamin emulsification and botanical extractions add to the list of raw materials carefully prepared by and exclusively for Biotics Research.

2. Operations

Continuously exceeding quality control standards, we pride ourselves on our manufacturing operations. In our over 40 years in business; local, state and federal FDA inspections and standards have been met and exceeded. Unlike other companies who mass produce products, we manufacture small batches more frequently to ensure freshness.

3. Capsules

High speed and semi-automatic encapsulation machines are used in the careful preparation of products. Dose consistency and easy-to-swallow vegetarian and gelatin capsules are the hallmark of our capsule production.

4. Tablets

Our low pressure and friction control process ensures our tablet ingredients are not damaged during production. Utilizing our nutritionally potent vegetable culture tableting base, we replace unhealthy filler options while providing products high in superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase, both powerful antioxidants.

5. Liquids

Emulsions and oils are carefully handled and prepared using simplified techniques to maintain their integrity and special quality. Water-based products are prepared with USP quality purified water and our streamlined bottling procedure that is carefully monitored and tested throughout the process.

6. Powders

Powders are prepared in different types of blenders based on mixing needs. Bottles and pouches are filled by weight with powder flow and consistency being carefully monitored at all times. Various types of equipment allow us to make products in sizes ranging from single dose to large bulk containers.

7. Packaging & Labeling

Multiple packaging and labeling lines consistently produce bottles and packages in varying counts and sizes. Quality controls and GMP practices ensure products are packaged and labeled within stringent guidelines and specifications.
