Gut Health as a Communication Hub: Restoring Balance in Complex Clinical Presentations

Gut health may be conceptualized as a central communication hub influencing whole-body physiology. While dysbiosis and chronic infection models remain clinically relevant, persistent digestive and multisystem symptoms frequently reflect broader disturbances in immune signaling, metabolic regulation, and nervous system balance. Dr. Stagg will examine gut-centered cross-talk across the gut–brain, and gut–heart axes, and discuss systems-based strategies for restoring gastrointestinal balance. The role of therapeutic inputs—including whole-material nutritional and botanical interventions—in supporting physiologic coherence, tolerance, and clinical response will also be explored.
