Our story began long before 1976. When Frank DeLuca's nephew was diagnosed with a terminal illness, the family's search for answers in science and nature lit a fire that still burns today. They didn't just want to sell supplements, we wanted to understand them, prove them, and stand behind every capsule with complete accountability.

That's why, from the very beginning, Biotics Research did something almost unheard of in this industry: we built our own facility, hired our own scientists, ran our own laboratory, and manufactured superior nutritional products ourselves.

Fifty years later, Frank's sons, Denis DeLuca and Daryl DeLuca continue to lead the company with those same founding values — and that's something no competitor can replicate.

When the nutritional supplement industry was being built on contract manufacturing and third-party testing, Biotics Research made a different choice. We owned every step. We still do.

Most supplement companies start by outsourcing manufacturing — many never bring it in-house at all. We began with ownership and have never looked back. This is exceptionally rare, and it is why we believe our quality has no equal.

1976-3

A Pioneer Is Incorporated

Biotics Research Corporation became incorporated with with Denis DeLuca as President and Daryl DeLuca as Vice President — built on a mission to bridge science and nature for healthcare professionals. 

 

1979-2

First to Manufacture & Market CoQ10 in the U.S.

Biotics Research scientists developed bovine heart CoQ10 extraction and proved it as a dietary nutrient, making CoQ10 available to U.S. markets for the first time — a category defining breakthrough. 

 

1980-1

EPA-Commissioned Genetics Lab — Love Canal

Biotics Research owned 81% of Biogenics, a genetics toxicology lab with mobile capacity, commissioned by the EPA for the landmark Love Canal risk assessment — work that directly led to the U.S. Superfund program.

 

2000-1

Patent: Testosterone Augmentation Formula

b-VITAL® receives a U.S. patent — clinically demonstrated to augment testosterone levels and enhance vitality in men. Patent (P) US 6,093,421.

 

2008-1

Landmark Research at Boston Children's Hospital

Bio-D-Mulsion®, a Biotics Research's emulsified vitamin D, is validated at Boston Children's Hospital, published in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, demonstrating a 202% increase in 25(OH)D levels in 6 weeks.

Patent: Gastroesophageal Health Formula

HCl-Ease® receives U.S. Patent 9,629,887 — a clinically evaluated formula developed with Dr. Gary Lasneski for targeted gastroesophageal health and comfort support.

Cardiovascular Patent with Vanderbilt Cardiologist

Bio-CardioSirt BP® earns two patents developed in collaboration with Mark Houston, MD, ABAAM — Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, 1990-2012.
